In the surrounding area you can enjoy walking through the beautiful Provence countryside, the promenade botanique and discover the beautiful valley of the Aygues, from Nyons to Orange.
Or make an excursion around the village and admire the landscape at the foothills of the Alps and the Ardèche.

A visit to the old village of Saint-Roman the Malegarde is certainly worth it. While approaching the centre, the lanes become narrower and steeper. Don't miss the parish church in the centre of the village. The church dates from the XIIIe century. Its façade is decorated with an 18th century sundial and a Maltese cross.

At the highest point of the village you will find the remains of its ancient 12th century castle. Only three towers remain.
The middle one is a troglodyte part of the former fortress.

Only a few hundred people live in the village during the entire year. Most of the inhabitants are wine-growers, who entirely devote themselves to the wine, worldwide known under the name
`Côtes du Rhône´.
